The Vision Kia Eastern Nationals in Farmington, New York, have proven to be a challenge. We had prepared ahead of time with plenty of snow, but Mother Nature has not been kind. Because of rain and warm temperatures, the snow has taken a hit and the decision has been made not to run this event.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have done everything possible to fulfill our obligations to our sponsors, our racers and our fans alike, but unfortunately, we cannot control the weather and it just isn't possible. All entries will be refunded.

Jimmy Blaze Fejes Sits Out for Winter X 2012.

Aspen, CO (January 26, 2012) - Team LaVallee brought on Jimmy Blaze Fejes last week to represent the team at Winter X Games 2012, for the snowmobile freestyle event held tonight (Thursday) at 8:15pm-9:00pm central standard time. Unfortunately, before practice yesterday - Fejes had to go through ESPN/XGames medical in order to get cleared to ride at XGames. Fejes had broken his femur two months ago, riding his snowmobile at a freestyle show held in Mexico. Since then, he had gotten clearance from his doctor in Texas, but the ESPN/XGames medics did not give Fejes the green light to ride. Fejes will now sit out for the 2012 Winter X Games.

“It has been a tough go for our team and finding a healthy rider for the X Games. We did all we could and it just wasn’t in our favor this year.” states Glenn Kafka (co-owner to Team LaVallee).

Levi LaVallee will however be commentating tonight during the Freestyle final and will also be on X Center following tonights XGames coverage. Be sure to tune in tonight, (Thursday - Jan. 26th) from 8:00-9:15pm central standard time on ESPN for the snowmobile freestyle competition.

Longville, MN (January 23, 2012) - With Team LaVallee’s freestyle riders, Levi LaVallee and Daniel Bodin out for Winter X Games 2012 (both were injured in separate training incidents during preparation for X Games), Team LaVallee was on the hunt - looking for a freestyle rider that could represent Team LaVallee.

Jimmy “Blaze” Fejes was called last week to see if he would be interested in representing Team LaVallee for the 2012 Winter X Games. With less than a week before the games begin, Fejes accepted the offer and was on the next flight to northern Minnesota to train at Levi LaVallee’s facility.

“We were excited coming into Winter X Games 2012 knowing we had two top level riders, and unfortunately both got hurt. And being this late in the game, we are fortunate to be able to bring on another XGames caliber rider, such as Jimmy Blaze Fejes, on to our team.” states Glenn Kafka (co-owner to Team LaVallee).

Fejes has attended multiple Winter X Games and most recently took 3rd place at Red Bull: Fuel + Fury, 2011 - a snowmobile freestyle competition held at iconic Wrigley Field, an event that was hosted by Levi LaVallee.

LONGVILLE, Minn., January 10, 2012 – After jumping right into the 2012 New Year (watch video), Team LaVallee was back in Minnesota and all geared up for the 3rd stop on the Amsoil Championship SnoCross Series, held at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. With lack of snow dominating most of the mid-west, the ACSS crew worked overtime and created enough man-made snow to make a great snocross track, which pleased both the racers and the record-breaking crowd for the Friday/Saturday National.

Team LaVallee was excited to come into the first race of 2012 with a full roster. Pro Rider, Bobby LePage had been given the green light from his doctor to race, LePage had missed the first two nationals due to a injury to his leg during pre-season practice. Also coming back was Team LaVallee’s other Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee - who was ready to go back to his “normal job” of racing, after smashing his old distance jump record of 361ft by 51ft, and setting a new world record distance jump of 412ft at Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. (watch video)

“I am pumped to be back racing! This is my 14th year racing at Canterbury, and it’s one of my favorite tracks. But, because of my distance jump, I only had one full day of practice for snocross, so my goal was just to make the finals and put on a good show for the fans.” states LaVallee.

The Results: Team LaVallee’s Pro Lites Rider, Jake Scott was looking strong in his Pro Lite qualifying rounds on Friday evening, Scott pulled a great holeshot and took 4th in his first qualifying heat. In round two, Scott had an unfortunate off, causing a muscle spasm in his lower back, which only allowed him to do starts for the rest of the weekend. Pro Rider, Bobby LePage had a great weekend for his first national this season. LePage just missed the final by a couple spots on Friday but finished Saturday’s final with a notable 12th place. Pro rider, Levi LaVallee’s goal for the weekend was to make both finals, and he did just that. Being the showman that LaVallee is, he started off both nights with his infamous “BackFlip Intro” and he rounded out the weekend with great qualifying rounds, winning one of his heat races and finishing in 12th place on Friday and 10th on Saturday.

(December 31, 2011) – Just after midnight on the East Coast (9 p.m. Pacific) Levi LaVallee and Robbie Maddison soared over 300 feet of water, and when they safely landed, both established new world records for distance jumping on a snowmobile and motorcycle, respectively, at Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. The event was telecast live from San Diego, Calif., on ESPN, ESPNHD and ESPN3.

LaVallee, a 29-year-old native of Longville, Minn., who was slated to jump in the same event last year before a testing accident derailed his New Year’s plans, redeemed himself in a big way - by breaking his existing certified world record of 361 feet with a leap of 412 feet 6 inches.

Maddison, a 30-year-old Aussie now living in Temecula, Calif., also achieved history by breaking his existing certified world record of 351 feet 3 inches by more than 30 feet, landing 378 feet 9 inches from his take-off ramp.

Soon after the fog blanketing the event site cleared, the two athletes blasted toward the take-off ramps on the North park at Embarcadero Marina Park in the downtown area of San Diego Bay, and launched across the 300-foot water gap, touching down on the massive landing ramp on the South park. A capacity crowd of thousands packed the park and got an early jump on their New Year’s Eve celebrations.

“I’m as excited as I think a person can be,” said LaVallee. “I just landed an over 400-foot jump. I’m not sure how the sled’s doing, but I’m OK, so it was good. It’s an amazing feeling. You have no idea how pumped I am.”

“It’s a cool feeling to do what I do and have the backing I do,” said Maddison. “I was confident we were going to go a long way tonight and we’re going to come back and go even further.”

WORLD-CLASS ATHLETES
Maddison boasts an accomplished freestyle motocross career, with an X Games silver medal in 2010 in Moto X Best Trick and two wins on the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour (Calgary 2009 and Madrid 2010). He also has a successful history of record-breaking achievements and globally captivating feats. LONGVILLE, Minn., December 13, 2011 – Snowmobile star Levi LaVallee will be a guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Wednesday, December 14 at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT (10:35 p.m. CT) on NBC.

Levi will follow comedian Louis C.K., starting off on the couch and an interview with Jay Leno, and then proceeding to become the first person to jump a snowmobile in the Tonight Show’s illustrious history.

LaVallee to Miss Blackjack National.

LONGVILLE, Minn., December 8, 2011 – This coming weekend, December 10th and 11th, most of Team LaVallee will be heading north to the Blackjack Ski Resort in Bessemer, MI for the second race on the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACSS). However, Team LaVallee’s pro rider, Levi LaVallee will not be able to compete in the Blackjack National. Immediately following the AMSOIL Duluth National, LaVallee left for California to do another round of testing for his Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. distance jump. With Santa Ana winds blowing strong throughout Southern California, testing was put on-hold until the winds were calm and the conditions were right to start jumping again.

“It was tough decision to miss the Blackjack National, but I knew that there was more testing needed for my distance jump. And ultimately, safety is my first priority and I want to make sure I have this jump dialed for New Years. So I am going to stay here in California, continue to test, and hopefully I can still catch the races online.” states LaVallee.

Team LaVallee’s other pro rider, Bobby LePage will only be doing starts this coming weekend as LePage suffered an injury to his leg late this fall and still has not been given approval to ride from his doctor. Team LaVallee’s Pro Lites Rider, Jake Scott will be riding this coming weekend and hopes to have a successful weekend of racing!

LaValllee Flips Over Duluth National.

LONGVILLE, Minn., November 29, 2011 – Starting off the 2011-2012 SnoCross season was the 20th Annual AMSOIL Duluth National held at Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minnesota. Traditionally held Thanksgiving weekend, the Duluth National was a 3-day action packed race event with the AMSOIL DOMINATOR® kicking things off Friday Night. Team LaVallee’s crew had there Mystik Lubricants, Loctite®, Polaris snowmobiles ripping and ready to go for the first National race of the season.

With over a year off, due to injury - Team LaVallee’s pro rider, Levi LaVallee was back and greeted his fans with a “surprise’ entrance. LaVallee did a backflip onto the table top, during the Opening Ceremonies introductions! In addition to his crowd pleasing flip, LaVallee’s race results throughout the weekend were just as exciting. With winning two of his four qualifying heats, LaVallee finished 8th in both Pro Open Finals on Saturday and Sunday.

“My goal coming into this first National was to make both of the finals, because of my distance jump coming up New Year’s Eve, I haven’t had a lot of time to dedicate to SnoCross. So I am super pumped with my results, being able to take a couple 1st place finishes in my heat races and to get into the top 10 in both finals, I am very pleased with my results. Not to mention how pumped I was to hear the crowd when I did my backflip introductions, the fans make this all worth it! I am already looking forward to the next race.” states LaVallee.

Team LaVallee’s other pro rider, Bobby LePage did not compete at the Duluth National, due to injury and has not been cleared by his doctor. Team LaVallee’s new pro lite rider, Jake Scott had a great debut on the ISOC National Circuit. Scott rode strong all weekend, with just missing the LCQ (last chance qualifier) cut-off on Sunday, Scott made it straight to the final on Saturday, qualifying 5th for the final. Off of the start of the 12-lap final, Scott found himself mid-pack, but with finding smooth lines and consistent lap times, Scott worked his way through and finished his first Pro Lite National with an impressive 4th place.

Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. returns

Santa Monica, Calif. (November 16, 2011) – A motorcycle and a snowmobile walk into a bar…Well, not quite, but not too different, as a motorcycle and a snowmobile will simultaneously fly over water in the latest installment of Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. This year will bring together two incredible athletes who have found their way back to the annual New Year’s Eve celebration via different paths. The event will air live from San Diego, Calif., on Saturday, December 31 at approximately 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT on ESPN, ESPNHD and ESPN3, immediately following the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

Levi LaVallee has fully recovered from a crash while training for the same event last year, just hours after shattering the world record with a leap of 361 feet on a snowmobile. Robbie Maddison kick-started the series in 2007 by jumping his motorcycle 322 feet over a football field in Las Vegas and followed it up in 2008 by jumping onto – and off – the 96-foot-tall Arc De Triomphe at Paris Las Vegas.

This year, LaVallee, a 28-year-old native of Longville, Minn., will jump his snowmobile alongside Maddison, a 30-year-old Aussie now living in Temecula, Calif., who will pilot his motorcycle as both athletes concurrently jump over 300 feet of water from the North park to the South park at the Embarcadero Marina Park in the downtown area of San Diego Bay. LaVallee will attempt to break his own record of 361 feet and Maddison will be aiming for a leap of more than 400 feet to eclipse the current record of 391 feet.

On-site viewing will be free to spectators at both parks. Gates will open at 6 p.m. PT.

“I am so pumped to be able to come back to Red Bull: New Year. No Limits.,” said LaVallee. “Last year obviously didn't go the way I was hoping, and I am excited to have another chance at this amazing opportunity.”

“Jumping long distances is a passion of mine, and I'm excited to come back for New Years Eve and sail over San Diego Harbor,” said Maddison. “400 feet is my goal. It's not all about getting the world record to me, it’s more about understanding this feat and the commitment ahead to achieving what most would consider an impossible jump.”

DOUBLE FEATURE
LaVallee is a seven-time Winter X Games medalist and champion snocross racer. He is widely known for becoming the first person to double backflip a snowmobile in 2009 at Winter X Games. San Diego may not be the first place that comes to mind when discussing snowmobiles, but the lack of snow won’t hinder LaVallee, who will use artificial turf on his run-up path, which will provide the necessary grip for his snowmobile’s track to ensure maximum speed as he hits the take-off ramp.

Maddison boasts accomplished freestyle motocross career, with an X Games silver medal in 2010 in Moto X Best Trick and two wins on the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour (Calgary 2009 and Madrid 2010). He also has a successful history of record-breaking achievements and globally captivating feats. Among them are backflipping across the Tower Bridge in London and clearing the Cornith Canal in Greece, to go with his previous New Year’s Eve successes.

Red Bull’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration highlights extraordinary athletes pushing their physical, mental and technical limits to break boundaries and records. LONGVILLE, Minn., November 7, 2011 – This past Saturday, November 5th - Levi LaVallee hosted Red Bull Fuel + Fury. A snowmobile freestyle competition where eight of the globe’s top snowmobilers competed for top place. With the competition held at the iconic Wrigley Field, it drew in quite a crowd and a lot of hype, the pressure was on for the riders to throw down an awesome show.

While Levi LaVallee was the host and commentator, along with Tess Sewell and Tina Dixon, Team LaVallee’s Daniel Bodin was ready for an awesome show. With the competition being judged in a double elimination bracket, Bodin was the first rider to go. With solid tricks and huge extensions throughout the night, Bodin pushed his way through his competitors and in the final round it was between him and Heath Frisby to take home first and second place. For the final round, Bodin threw a huge bar-hop backflip (which currently no other snowmobile freestyler has done in competition) and he found his way onto the top of the podium with a top score of 91 out of 100.

“This was a really great way to start out the freestyle season. I am very excited to be back with Team LaVallee, I was able to train at Levi’s compound last week, before the event and it definitely paid off. This is huge for me!” states Bodin.

One of the longest-running Winter X Games events -- Snowmobile SnoCross racing -- will no longer be a part of the Winter X program, as of this coming January's event in Aspen, Colo., X Games officials announced Thursday. SnoCross debuted in 1998 as the first motorized sport in X Games history, and had been contested every year since then. Speed & Style, which combines snowmobiling's freestyle and racing disciplines, and adaptive SnoCross, are also being eliminated.

X Games Senior Director of Content Strategy Tim Reed said the decision to cut the events was complex and not tied strictly to budgets. "Ultimately, we're trying to create and build the best event we can," Reed said. "It's never easy. We know there's a lot going on in the industry and a lot of it is tied to the X Games. A lot goes into these decisions."

The official statement read: "Each year the X Games monitor and evaluate the most appropriate sports for inclusion in each event and over time has continued to evolve in order to deliver the best product and most value for its athletes and fans. At this time, we decided that ESPN will focus on the disciplines of Snowmobile Freestyle and Best Trick and will not bring back the disciplines of SnoCross and Speed & Style to Winter X Games Aspen.

"SnoCross has been a great element of the Winter X Games for the past 14 years. We've enjoyed working with the athletes and look forward to seeing many of them in Aspen as they continue to compete in the other disciplines."

Many of the sport's top riders were informed of the decision Wednesday. "It's a shock," said Tucker Hibbert, the five-time defending SnoCross gold medalist and six-time winner overall. "Definitely wasn't something we were expecting to hear. It's obviously going to be a huge blow to snowmobiling." Hibbert broke into the sport by winning his first SnoCross gold medal at age 15, making him the youngest gold medalist in Winter X Games history. He went on to compete in SnoCross for 12 of its 14 years at the X Games. "It's been a big part of my professional racing career," he said. "For me, one of the biggest letdowns is just not getting the opportunity to go for the six-peat."

"On a business side, I can understand the X Games' reasoning," said four-time Snowmobile gold medalist Levi LaVallee, whose seven total medals include the SnoCross silver he earned in 2006. "But it's just disappointing. Without the exposure, it's going to take a toll on the riders, the teams, the sponsors. We'll just have to work that much harder."

SnoCross, which exploded in popularity in the mid-'90s, dominated competitive snowmobiling for decades before the freestyle discipline began to grow in the early and mid-2000s. Ironically, before Freestyle debuted at the X Games in 2007, many freestylers struggled to gain industry support because so much focus was given to the racers. Now, at least at the X Games, the opposite is true.

"That's where it obviously started, with SnoCross, but at the same time, you got to change things up and we're always seeing things change at X," said freestyler Heath Frisby, who took silver in Speed & Style at WX 2011. The hybrid discipline returned this year after a one-year absence, and many riders felt it rewarded the most complete snowmobiler at Winter X. "Speed & Style was my favorite event," Frisby said. "I've been working out and training for it already this year. It's a shock to me."

Hibbert said SnoCross' elimination from X opens up about a six-week hole in his winter schedule, time he'll use to prepare for the World Championship race, which he won in Sweden in 2010. "That's the only event I've put as much time into as the X Games," Hibbert said.

As for snowmobiling's future in Aspen, Reed said ESPN remains committed to the Freestyle discipline. "It's an exciting thing, the fans react to it. It doesn't take anything away from the SnoCross guys or Speed & Style, but we're looking forward to highlighting Freestyle in the future."

LaVallee and Kafka will also be joined by Pro Adaptive racer, Mike Schultz. The group is to depart on July 6, 2011 with a tour that is part of the Armed Forces Entertainment. The trip starts in Germany at the Wounded Warrior Wing of the Army Hospital Landstuhl. From there the guys will travel to undisclosed bases throughout the Middle East. They will place ESPN XGames Medals around the necks of the service members, have meet and greets and share stories of their success and accomplishments.

Professional baseball player, Justin Morneau, in conjunction with the Minnesota Twins and the Arthritis Foundation Upper Midwest Region, will host the third annual Justin Morneau’s Casino Night. This event will take place Sunday, June 12 from 6–10 p.m. at International Market Square.

LONGVILLE, Minn., March 23, 2011 – Beautiful Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI held the final race of the 2010-2011 Amsoil Championship Snocross Series (ACSS). Team LaVallee kicked off the 3-Day race weekend with semi pro rider, Andy Lieders racing the Affiliate class (a joint affiliation between ISOC/ACSS and the Regional Circuits) on Friday. “It was awesome that Lieders qualified for the Affiliate races, we got an early start on testing out the track and he also got an extra day of riding in before the ACSS National races on Saturday and Sunday.” stated co-owner Glenn Kafka

The Results: Semi-Pro Andy Lieders, started his weekend off with a win! On Friday in the affiliate semi-pro race, Lieders was the number one qualifier going into the final and with an awesome hole shot off of the start, he took home a first place win. On Saturday and Sunday, Lieders carried that momentum throughout the weekend finishing 8th in both of his finals. Pro Rider, Bobby LePage worked hard all weekend, with great qualifying rounds in both the pro open and pro stock classes, LePage was ready for a win. Off of the start of the pro open final, LePage found himself mid-pack and with two laps in LePage had an unfortunate off, ending his final race of the season with a notable 14th place finish.

Team LaVallee’s Elko Speedway ReCap

LONGVILLE, Minn., March 16, 2011 – Elko Speedway in Elko New Market, Minnesota was the seventh out of eight stops on the Amsoil Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) and with every point counting, Team LaVallee was ready to push the limits at the 2-Day event.

The Results: Team LaVallee’s newest rider, Semi-Pro Andy Lieders, had a very strong and consistent weekend. With a combination of great hole-shots and smooth passes, Lieders took 8th in his semi-pro stock final on Saturday and found himself rounding out the top five, with his awesome 5th place finish on Sunday. LePage pushed through the heated battles Saturday evening in the pro stock final, coming from the back row, LePage road hard but couldn’t quite find his rhythm and finished a notable 11th. Sunday, LePage came out swinging and continued that momentum throughout the day. In the pro open final, he came off the line towards the front and held an exciting 3rd place for 17 of the 20-lap final. With two laps to go, LePage had an unfortunate off and settled with a 9th place finish.

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin hosts the Grande Finale for the 2010-2011 ACSS Series, with each race counting for the points battle, it will surely be a race weekend you won’t want to miss!

LONGVILLE, Minn., March 1, 2011 – Team LaVallee is excited to add Semi-Pro Rider, Andy Lieders to the team. After Levi LaVallee was injured in mid-December, Team LaVallee had originally brought on Pro Rider, Andrew Johnstad to fill LaVallee’s boots. After three National Races, there was a mutual agreement between Johnstad and Team LaVallee that they would part ways. Semi-Pro rider, Andy Lieders is now geared up to be with Team LaVallee for the remaining three national races on the 2010-2011 Amsoil Championship SnoCross Series.

Team LaVallee’s Michigan National Recap

LONGVILLE, Minn., February 15, 2011 – For the 5th stop on the Amsoil Championship Snocross Series (ACSS), the TRAXXAS Michigan National was the only race of the ACSS Tour that were held indoors. The legendary Silverdome in Pontiac, MI opened its doors for the 1-Day National and with truck loads of snow hauled into the stadium, the track was created. The track was technical with tight corners and with 15-rider finals, there was sure to be some great bar-to-bar racing.

The Results:
Johnstad fought hard all weekend. With his Team LaVallee Polaris 600 IQ running great, Johnstad’s mind-set was to stay clean and consistent throughout the day. With a tight course and challenging rhythm sections, Johnstad’s qualifying rounds were good but unfortunately not good enough allowing him to miss both the Pro Open & Pro Stock finals by 3 positions.

LePage was ripping great hole shots throughout the 1-Day Indoor National and was eager to take a podium finish. LePage made both the Pro Open and Pro Stock final and with qualifying 5th for the Pro Open Final, he was ready to make his move. With the drop of the green flag, LePage was unfortunately pinched in between two neighboring sleds which caused him to be thrown off of his sled. With the hard slam, LePage went off the track and sat out for the rest of the Pro Open Final. A tough weekend for Team LaVallee, but with a 3 week break before the next National in Hayward, Wisconsin the team will be well-rested and ready to give it their all in Hayward.

Team LaVallee’s Eastern National Recap

LONGVILLE, Minn., February 8, 2011 – Team LaVallee was back on the road for the Amsoil Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) and the next stop on the tour was the Vision Kia Eastern Nationals held at Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack in Farmington, NY. Coming off of the last ACSS National, held in early January in Sandy, Utah, LePage earned his first podium spot and he was eager to do it again in New York. The track conditions at the Eastern National were technical with deep holes, and the snowy weather conditions caused the lines to change almost every lap making a podium finish even more challenging for all the riders.

The Results: Johnstad had great determination going into the Eastern National, with placing 5th and 6th in Pro Stock qualifying rounds, Johnstad found himself in the LCQ and placed 8th, just 3 spots shy of making the Pro Stock final. On day two in Pro Open, Johnstad qualified for the final through the LCQ. Coming from the back row in the final, Johnstad fought hard and made his way through the pack finishing a notable 10th place. LePage had great qualifying rounds for both the Pro Open and Pro Stock classes. However, where LePage shined the most over the weekend was in the Pro Stock Final. Coming from the back row for the 15 rider, 22-lap race, LePage started at the back of the pack, but that wasn’t going to stop him from working his way through. With finding the right lines and making clean passes, LePage went from 15th place and finished an amazing 6th in the Pro Stock Final.

Bodin Brings Home Two Golds at Winter X!

LONGVILLE, Minn., February 2, 2011 – This year, Buttermilk Mountain of Aspen, Colorado celebrated its 10th year of hosting the Winter X Games. With this year being already a milestone, Winter X 15 brought in record breaking crowds, ample weather conditions, and never-seen-before tricks.

With Levi LaVallee on the road to recovery one would think his schedule would be pretty low-key, however, it was anything but that. LaVallee received the honor of announcing both the Freestyle final and Best Trick final, followed by multiple interviews and autograph sessions LaVallee was still able to be very involved in Winter X 15.

“It was a lot of fun announcing this year, if I can’t be out on the course competing, this is the next best thing. I had a blast!” states LaVallee.

With LaVallee on the injured list for the rest of the season, Freestyle rider, Daniel Bodin was added to Team LaVallee’s roster for this years Games. Bodin competed in Freestyle, Speed & Style and Best Trick. On Thursday, Bodin started the weekend off with a bang receiving his first gold medal in Freestyle. He finished 4th in Speed & Style and to add to his first gold medal, he finished the weekend off with striking gold again in Best Trick. Bodin rode strong all weekend but what earned him his two gold medals were his consistent runs, full extensions, and pulling of a Double Grap Backflip in the Best Trick Final, a trick that had never been seen before on a snowmobile.

In SnoCross, LePage started off very strong winning his qualifying round for the final. With the top 10 riders in the front row, and top 5 rides of the LCQ in the back row, the 15 rider - 15 lap final was going to be quite the show. Off of the start, LePage found himself towards the front of the pack and about half of a lap in, an unfortunately crash left LePage sitting out for the rest of the final.

Coming Up: With the successful weekend at Winter X 15, Team LaVallee is back on the road for the next ACSS National: Vision KIA Eastern Nationals held at Finger Lakes Casino & Racetrack in Farmington, NY this weekend, February 4-5th, 2011.

LONGVILLE, Minn., January 18, 2011 – With testing already underway for the upcoming Winter X Games 15 held January 27th - 30th at the beautiful Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado, Team LaVallee is hoping to continue great results this year as they did last. If you remember from Winter X Games 14, Levi LaVallee took home both a Bronze medal in Best Trick and a Gold medal in Knock Out (snowmobile long-jump competition). With LaVallee out for this years games and for the rest of the 10-11 ACSS National Series, the search was on to find a new rider to fill Levi’s spot. As noted at the ACSS Western Nationals held in Sandy, Utah - Pro Rider, Andrew Johnstad was added to the team to fill the boots for LaVallee for the rest of the SnoCross season, but what about Freestyle?

LaVallee was to compete again, in four snowmobile disciplines at this year’s Winter X Games (SnoCross, Freestyle, Best Trick and Speed & Style) - and with him being out, Polaris/Red Bull Rider, Daniel Bodin was quickly added in.

“I’m exited that we could bring Daniel on board for this years X Games, he took silver last year in Best Trick and has rode very well in Freestyle in the past. We are pumped to have him on the team.” states LaVallee.

Daniel will be competing in Freestyle, Best Trick and Speed & Style. Team LaVallee’s Pro SnoCross Rider, Bobby LePage is qualified for SnoCross and Andrew Johnstad may also have his chance at SnoCross, but as of right now he sits as an alternate. Levi LaVallee will be attending the Winter X Games and will be as involved as he can. He will be doing autograph sessions/appearances and also announcing some of the Snowmobile Events.

LePage Takes 3rd in Pro Stock!

LONGVILLE, Minn., January 11, 2011 – After a couple of weeks off, the Amsoil Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) was back on the road, for the 3rd National of the season, Piranha-X Western National presented by Fly Racing was held at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

Team LaVallee was geared up and ready to go for the Western Nationals, with days of testing for the higher altitude, the Team LaVallee’s Polaris IQ 600’s were ready to rip! With Levi LaVallee out for the rest of the 2010-2011 Season (due to his accident while practicing for his long distance record jump), pro rider Andrew Johnstad was added to the team to fill LaVallee’s boots.

The Results: Johnstad qualified for both Pro Stock and Pro Open Finals - with the holeshot being key for the tight track at Rio Tinto stadium, Johnstad pushed his way into 9th place in the Open Final, and after a minor crash in the Pro Stock Final, Johnstad finished 14th. LePage had a phenomenal weekend of racing, with qualifying 2nd for the Pro Stock Final, LePage ripped an awesome holeshot off of the start, kept his 1st place half-way through the 25 lap final, and was eventually passed by Hibbert and Martin, but rode a great race and finished 3rd! LePage’s first podium of the year for Team LaVallee! LePage again had ample qualifying for Pro Open, but with a crash off of the start for the Final race, LePage was pushed back to 14th and stayed there for the remainder of the 25 lap final.

“I couldn’t be happier with my results this past weekend, my Team LaVallee Polaris was ripping, and a podium finish is huge for me! I worked really hard over the Christmas break, and it definitely paid off.” states LePage.

Levi LaVallee has been released from the hospital and is headed home to Minnesota. He will continue his recovery from injuries sustained in an incident during testing for his planned Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. snowmobile distance jump in San Diego, which was set to be telecast on ESPN. Below is a statement from Levi:

"I am out of the hospital and on my way home to Minnesota. When I jumped 361 feet during testing, I was pumped and felt I could fly even further on December 31 at Red Bull: New Year. No Limits., but unfortunately it didn't work out that way and I will be ringing in the new year a little differently than originally planned. I'm of course disappointed, but the most important thing is that I'm recovering and hope to get back on my sled soon. Thanks to everyone who has wished me well. Levi LaVallee Injury Necessitates Event Cancellation

SANTA MONICA, CA (December 17, 2010) - Levi LaVallee was injured on Tuesday, December 14, while practicing in Southern California for his planned world record snowmobile distance jump at this year's Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. event, set to take place in San Diego on December 31 and telecast on ESPN. LaVallee was immediately transported to a local hospital where he is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. As a result of this incident, however, it has been decided that Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. will be cancelled this year.

The safety of Red Bull’s world-class athletes is paramount, and all precautions were taken during LaVallee’s testing sessions to ensure he could perform in the safest-possible setting.

Leading up to the event, LaVallee, 28, from Longville, MN, worked with athlete performance experts, aerodynamics experts and engineers, in addition to his core team, in an effort to get the most out of his body and snowmobile. During testing, LaVallee jumped an astounding 361 feet, eclipsing the existing record by 60 feet. This jump will be submitted for world record certification.

LaVallee has had a very successful career in several snowmobile disciplines. A snocross racer for more than 15 years, he took up freestyle in 2007, and at Winter X Games 12 in 2008, he won the gold medal in the Freestyle and Speed & Style events and was named Athlete of the Games. In 2009, he won the Pro Stock Snocross championship and came thisclose to landing the first-ever snowmobile double backflip at Winter X 13, garnering global media attention. Earlier this year, at Winter X 14, he took gold in the newly-created Snowmobile Knock Out event, his seventh Winter X Games medal.

LaVallee was to be the fourth athlete to star in Red Bull’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration on ESPN, which highlights extraordinary athletes pushing their physical, mental and technical limits to break boundaries and records. Robbie Maddison jumped his motorcycle 322 feet over a football field in Las Vegas in 2007 and followed it up in 2008 by jumping onto – and off – of the 96-foot-tall Arc De Triomphe at Paris Las Vegas. Also in 2008, Rhys Millen backflipped an off-road truck. Last year, Travis Pastrana jumped his rally car 269 feet over water, landing on a barge in Long Beach’s Rainbow Harbor.

LONGVILLE, Minn., December 1, 2010 – The first stop on the Amsoil Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) season opened in Duluth, Minn., which also happened to be Team LaVallee’s new Pro rider, Bobby LePage’s hometown.

“It felt awesome starting out this season with a brand new team in my hometown. A lot of friends and family were able to come to the races and it was a lot of fun putting on a show for them and all the fans.” states LePage.

The racing started on Friday for Team LaVallee with Winter X Games qualifying. Team LaVallee’s, Levi LaVallee was chosen as one of the ten SnoCross athletes to be invited to the Games - so now it was up to LePage to get his spot. After a full day of qualifying, LePage earned his XGames invitation by qualifying 5th for Winter X 15.

Saturday and Sunday Team LaVallee was back to Pro Stock and Pro Open racing. With ample weather conditions and more than enough snow, the technical track was designed to please the fans and the riders. With LaVallee sitting out the first two National races, to put time and preparation for his Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. jump, all eyes were focused on LePge.

With Team LaVallee’s Polaris IQ 600’s running great, LePage had good qualifying rounds for both Pro Stock and Pro Open. He missed the final by 2 positions in Pro Stock, but made his way into the Pro Open Final on Sunday with a notable 12th place finish. Levi LaVallee to Attempt Record-Breaking Snowmobile Distance Jump
On New Year’s Eve, Live From San Diego Bay on ESPN

Santa Monica, Calif. (November 10, 2010) – While our friends to the north call them snowmachines, most of us know them as snowmobiles, and the hipper folks simply call them sleds. No matter what you call this mode of transportation, history will be made by Levi LaVallee on New Year’s Eve at Red Bull: New Year. No Limits., airing live on Friday, December 31 on ESPN, immediately following the Chick-Fil-A Bowl (approximately 11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT).

LaVallee, a seven-time Winter X Games medalist and champion snocross racer, will attempt to jump his Polaris snowmobile longer than ever before and eclipse the current record of 301 feet. In addition to his racing exploits, Levi is widely-known for becoming the first person to double backflip a snowmobile in 2009.

The event will take place at the Embarcadero Marina Park in the Port of San Diego. Embarcadero is Spanish for “landing place,” making it an appropriate location for LaVallee’s jump. On-site viewing will be free to spectators at Marina Park. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. PT.

“I can’t even explain how excited I am to be part of this year's Red Bull: New Year. No Limits.,” said LaVallee. “With the jump gap itself being longer than the existing distance record, it is going to be one heck of a ride!”

NO SNOW? NO PROBLEM!
San Diego may not be the first place one thinks of when discussing snowmobiles, but the lack of snow won’t hinder the 28-year-old native of Longville, Minnesota (population 180), the Turtle Race Capitol of the World and home to weekly meat raffles. Yes, turtles and meat – but not turtle meat. LaVallee will use artificial turf on his 1,100-foot run-up path, which will provide the necessary grip for his snowmobile’s track to ensure maximum speed as he hits the take-off ramp. LaVallee’s jump will take him over a 300-foot water gap at the entrance of the Marina. A small amount of snow will be sprayed on the landing ramp to provide necessary slickness so Levi can make a smooth landing.

“It will be awesome for people to see a snowmobile making a world record distance jump in San Diego,” said LaVallee. “Snowmobiles are made for snow, and last I checked there isn't much snow in San Diego, but it is a great location for this event. Only at Red Bull: New Year. No Limits. would you see something like this.”

Leading up to his big night, LaVallee will work with athlete performance experts, physicists and engineers, in addition to his core team, in an effort to get the most out of his body and 450-pound snowmobile. Valuable information will also be attained and put into future snowmobile development.

LaVallee has had a very successful career in several snowmobile disciplines. A snocross racer for more than 15 years, he took up freestyle in 2007, and at Winter X Games 12 in 2008, he won the gold medal in the Freestyle and Speed & Style events and was named Athlete of the Games. In 2009, he won the Pro Stock Snocross championship and came thisclose to landing the first-ever snowmobile double backflip at Winter X 13, falling off on the hard impact but garnering global media attention. Earlier this year, at Winter X 14, he took gold in the newly-created Snowmobile Knock Out event.

LaVallee becomes the fourth athlete to star in Red Bull’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration on ESPN, which highlights extraordinary athletes pushing their physical, mental and technical limits to break boundaries and records. Robbie Maddison kicked things off in 2007 by jumping his motorcycle 322 feet over a football field in Las Vegas and followed it up in 2008 by jumping onto – and off – of the 96-foot-tall Arc De Triomphe at Paris Las Vegas. Also in 2008, Rhys Millen backflipped an off-road truck and just missed sticking the landing. Last year, Travis Pastrana jumped his rally car a staggering 269 feet over water, landing on a barge in Long Beach’s Rainbow Harbor.

With only 8 days after having surgery, Levi traveled over to the east coast for an Open House. F.B. Spaulding Company is located in Lancaster, New Hampshire and is one of the most reputable Polaris Dealerships on the coast. With the family-owned company since 1902, the F.B. Spaulding Company wanted to "Go Big" for their brand new location and they did just that.
Levi, crutches and all, made it to their Open House and signed autographs all day. "I have never been to this area before in New Hampshire - but I am happy to say that the people here are awesome. Everyone is super down-to-earth and they have made me feel really welcome. I hope to come back to this area again, next time- without crutches!" stated LaVallee.

Levi appeared at an Open House this past Saturday, at Mies Outland, in Watkins, Minnesota. Mies Outland is known for the being the world's largest Polaris dealership. "Its an amazing place." stated Levi "I felt like I was in a Cabela's Store being in here, its huge, and they have an endless selection of Polaris Products- it's awesome."

Levi signed autographs and brought his 2009/2010 Race Sled with him, which allowed fans to get some great photos. There was a great turn out and Levi hopes to do it again next year.

Team LaVallee Ends the Season Strong!

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin was the location for the 09/10 AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series final race. With strong results from the previous race, Team LaVallee was sitting well in the points battle, with Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee holding the 2nd place spot for the Pro Open Title.

“Lake Geneva is one of my favorite tracks on the race circuit, says LaVallee, the weather is usually always nice, the track is long and challenging and the crowd seems to get bigger and bigger each year.”

Race Results:
Pro Stock. Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee, first round of qualifying started off well as he positioned himself towards the top of the pack, but with an unfortunately off, LaVallee ended in the 7th place spot. Round two, LaVallee road hard and finished 5th and moved his way into the final as the 13 qualifier, after getting 3rd in the LCQ. Coming from the back row in the Final, LaVallee started towards the back and after an unfortunate off in the Final, LaVallee finished the final Pro Stock race of the season in 13th position.

Pro Open. LaVallee was currently sitting in 2nd place for the Pro Open Points Championship and was hoping to keep that position. In his qualifying, LaVallee took 5th and 2nd place finishes, which brought him into the final as the 7th place qualifier. Off the start of the Pro Open Final, LaVallee had a great start and was sitting well in the pack, until halfway through the race LaVallee had technical difficulties, causing him to end his Pro Open Final in 12th place. However, LaVallee held on to his 2nd place in the Pro Open points, by one point. What an amazing accomplishment by LaVallee, while riding all season with a hurt foot and will be going into surgery within the next few weeks.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #1. Semi Pro Rider, Chris Kafka had an excellent day of racing on Friday. With awesome starts in his qualifiers, Kafka took 3rd and 2nd place finishes. Off of the start for the Semi Pro Stock #1 Final, Kafka had a great start and road strong the entire final, ending in the 8th place spot.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #2. Kafka had another day of great racing with finishing in 3rd and 5th in his qualifying rounds. With multiple qualifying heats, Kafka ended up running the LCQ. He won the race and it made him the 12th qualifier for the Final. Coming from the back row in the Semi-Pro Super Stock #2 Final, Kafka road smooth and finished in the 10th place position.

Year End Points & Notable Awards:
LaVallee: Pro Stock (7th) - Pro Open (2nd)
Kafka: Semi Pro Super Stock#1 (5th) - Semi Pro Super Stock #2 (12th)
LaVallee received the “Fan Favorite” Award - which is voted by an online Poll.
LaVallee also received the “True Grit” Award for riding all season with a hurt foot.

With only two races left on the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series the team was back in the Midwest, where the races where held at the LCO Casino in Hayward, Wisconsin. Team LaVallee was sitting well in the points battle, with Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee sitting in the 2nd place spot for the Pro Open Title.

“Coming into these last few races, the last thing on my mind is the points - my main goal is to go out there, have fun and give the crowd a nice show.” said LaVallee on this thoughts of sitting in 2nd place for the Championship Title.

Race Results:
Pro Stock. Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee, first round of qualifying started off well as he positioned himself in the 2nd place spot. Unfortunately, he tipped over while making a move for the lead, ending in 9th place. Round two, LaVallee held a strong 3rd place finish and moved his way into the final as the 12 qualifier, after getting 2nd in the LCQ. Coming from the back row in the Final, LaVallee started towards the back and moved his way up to an excellent 8th place.

Pro Open. LaVallee has been riding really well on his Open Sled, and he continued his streak throughout this weekend. The crew had Levi’s sled dialed-in all weekend, and he was ripping awesome hole shots. Levi scored 1st and 2nd place finishes in his qualifying rounds, allowing him to be the 3rd qualified for the Final. Off of the start, Levi was mid-pack and had his work cut out for him. He rode strong, found great lines and pushed his way through to the 3rd place spot - allowing LaVallee on the Podium.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #1. Semi Pro Rider, Chris Kafka had an excellent day of racing on Saturday. With awesome starts in his qualifiers, Kafka took 2nd and 1st place finishes, allowing him to be the 2nd place qualifier for the final. Off of the start for the Semi Pro Stock #1 Final, Kafka was unfortunately pushed off the start and was sitting in the 14 spot. With hard-charging riding, great lines, a never-give-up attitude, Kafka made his way from the 14th spot to the 4th!

Semi-Pro Super Stock #2. Kafka had another day of exceptional racing with winning both of his qualifying rounds and qualifying first for his Semi Pro Sock #2 Final. With 10 riders lined up tight off the start, Kafka got pinched in between a couple sleds and put him towards the back of the pack. But that didn’t keep Kafka from running strong and with consistent lines and lap times, Kafka crossed the finish line in the impressive 9th place spot.

With one more National to go, Levi LaVallee is currently sitting in 2nd place for the Points Championship in the Open Class - it will all come down to the final race, at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Hope to see you there!

Team LaVallee finishes the Canadian National on the podium!

For the last eastern race on the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series the team headed across the border to the Quick Draw Canadian Nationals held at Hiawatha Horsepark in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.

With unseasonably warm weather, the entire rack was made by snow that was hauled in by the truck load from surrounding Ski Hills. “I was happy to see the endless preparation for this race, it is a great opportunity for us to do this Canadian National and I am really glad it all worked out” stated LaVallee.

Race Results: Pro Stock. Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee, had a great start for the weekend with qualifying 5th and 2nd in his heats. With those two successful rounds, Levi was the 6th qualifier going into the Pro Stock Final. With 10 sleds lined up tight off the start for the final, Levi got pinched between a few sleds and was pushed towards the back of the pack. With 20 laps of head of him, Levi was hungry and worked him way up to an excellent 6th place finish.

Pro Open. With the pain in LaVallee’s heel/foot still there, he pushed through it and had an outstanding day of racing. Round one, LaVallee took the holeshot and held his lines to win his heat. Round two, LaVallee’s lap times were super consistent and he finished high with a 2nd place spot. With awesome qualifying, LaVallee was the 2nd place qualifier for the Pro Open Final. Levi chose the far - outside line for the Final and it worked in his advantage, by taking the hole shot and quickly moved out in front of the pack. With leading for 8 laps, LaVallee was bumped by Ross Martin, causing just enough force for LaVallee to get pushed back to 2nd place. LaVallee continued to ride strong throughout the entire race and ended with an exciting 2nd place. Levi was thrilled to be back on the podium!

Semi-Pro Super Stock #1. Semi Pro Rider, Chris Kafka had a similar day of riding to teammate LaVallee. With solid riding, Kafka made his was straight to the final with 5th and 1st place finishes in his qualifying rounds. In the final, Kafka came off the track right after the start, putting him in last place in lap 1 - with 16 laps to go, Kafka road hard, chose great lines and made his way up to 6th place. Unfortunately Kafka was disqualified after a debatable call for jumping under a yellow flag.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #2. Kafka had another day of exceptional racing with taking a 2nd and 4th place in his qualifying rounds. He made it into the final in the 9th place spot. Off the start for the Final, Kafka ripped the hole shot and pulled a sizable lead on the field before the race was red flagged because of a down rider. The green flag dropped for the restart, and Kafka pulled off the track with mechanical issues, ending his race way to early.
Levi LaVallee is currently sitting in 2nd place for the Points Championship in the Open Class - so these final two races are really going to count. Keep an eye out for Team LaVallee as we head back to the Midwest for the final two Nationals.

The Eastern Swing of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series was in full swing and the next stop on the series was the HK Powersports New England Nationals held at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH.

With Team LaVallee staying out in New York to train all week, it eliminated more travel and allowed more practice time for LaVallee and Kafka. “Its a lot of fun being on the road with the team, it allow us to solely focus on racing and making sure our sleds are running top notch for the next race.” stated LaVallee “I am looking forward to this next stop on the series, with Hibbert done for the season, everyone will be hungry and eager to get to the top spot.”

Race Results: Pro Stock. Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee, had a tough day of racing on Friday. With his right heel/foot being bother-some from a motocross injury last spring, he was not riding to his full potential. In LaVallee’s qualifying rounds, he got 5th and 6th place finishes, causing him to be in the LCQ. LaVallee’s chances of going into the final were stopped, after a crash off of the start of the LCQ, caused him to be mid-pack and finishing 3 places shy for the final.

Pro Open. On day two for the Salem, NH Race - LaVallee was determined for a more successful day of racing. In his qualifying rounds, he took a 3rd in round one and 9th in round two, after an early-on crash. Levi headed into the LCQ and rode strong to get a 2nd place spot and allowing him to be one of the five riders in the back row for the final. LaVallee had nothing but enduring determination in this Pro Open Final, and with a great start, Levi found himself in the 6th place spot. He worked his way through a couple riders and battled on the last lap of the 20 lap final to take Cory Davis’ 3rd place, but there wasn’t enough time and finished in a terrific 4th place. The crowd went crazy and a smile couldn’t leave Levi’s face.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #1. Semi Pro Rider, Chris Kafka had an exceptional day of qualifying, with 1st and 6th place finishes in his qualifying rounds, allowing Kafka to go straight into his Final. With a tough start, Kafka found himself towards the back, but kept a great momentum and worked his way into the 9th position.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #2. Kafka kept a solid attitude for the 2nd day of the races, and took a 6th and 6th in his qualifying rounds. Kafka was set for the LCQ before he could make it into the final. With 10 eager riders wanting to take the top 5 spots, Kafka had a difficult start and missed his spot for the final by 2 positions.

Team LaVallee is looking forward to crossing the border for the next stop on the ACSS Tour and is ready to bring high-energy for the Sarnia, Ontario National.

Jackson Hole, WY is known for its beautiful scenery, breath taking views, and in the winter time for it’s well-traveled destination for snowmobiling. Levi LaVallee and fellow Red Bull Athlete, Heath Frisby, were given the opportunity to do some back country riding for Good Morning America.

Levi, Heath, and about 10 other Red Bull and Good Morning America correspondents traveled up the snowy paths from Jackson Hole, WY to Togwotee Mountain Lodge, a lodge that has earned its reputation as the World’s Premier Snowmobile Resort for vacation winter sports. With help from a local guide, the GMA crew was brought to a secluded spot to do the shoot.

ESPN Winter X Games 14 and Athletes Set New Records

Record TV Viewership, Attendance and Groundbreaking Performances

A record number of fans and spectators enjoyed the unprecedented hours of Winter X Games 14 content across ESPN’s numerous global platforms. The annual winter action sports event welcomed 200 world-class athletes for a ninth straight year to Aspen/Snowmass at Buttermilk Mountain where a record number of spectators saw a number of record performances while more people than ever watched on television.

“It is always our goal as a network and event to deliver the best in action sports to fans worldwide,” said Rick Alessandri, senior vice president, X Games Franchise. “The continued success of Winter X Games, coupled by our increase to an all-time high in programming hours, speaks to the amazing talents and dedication of the athletes competing at Winter X.”

For the third straight year, the Winter X Games was ESPN’s highest-rated and most-viewed, and more than 43 million viewers tuned in to watch on ESPN and ESPN2. The ESPN telecasts posted a 1.2 household rating, representing an average of 1,147,000 households. In addition, both ESPN and ESPN2 recorded their highest-rated and most-viewed individual Winter X telecasts (1.3 on ESPN and a 0.8 on ESPN2).

ESPN and ESPN2 televised 24.5 hours of live high-definition programming Jan. 28 - 31. Additionally, the Winter X Games were also televised on ESPN's International networks to 172 countries and territories in Latin America, the Pacific Rim, Middle East, Africa, Israel and Canada.

Winter X Games 14 set a new attendance record in Aspen with a total of 84,100 spectators over four days, beating the previous Aspen best of 76,150 set in 2007 – an increase of nine percent.

The world watched Shaun White make history as he won Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe for the third time in a row, despite a scary fall during practice. Athletes who broke Winter X Games records:

Ophelie David: Four-peat in Women's Skier X. It was the first four-peat in Skiing history.

Tucker Hibbert: Four-peat in Snowmobile SnoCross. It was the first four-peat in Snowmobile history.

Nate Holland: Five-peat in Men’s Snowboarder X. It was the first five-peat in Winter X Games history.

Lindsey Jacobellis: Three-peat in Women’s Snowboarder X. Jacobellis was the first person to three-peat twice in the same discipline.

Shaun White: Three-peat in Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe. It was the first three-peat in Snowboard SuperPipe, Men or Women. White is also the second person to three-peat in two separate disciplines.

With the Winter X Games a near memory, Team LaVallee was on the road again and gearing up for the Eastern Swing of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series and the next stop was at the Finger Lakes Racetrack in Farmington, NY.

“I was really looking forward to this next race, mostly because I knew that with X Games being over with, I could put all of my concentration back into racing.” stated LaVallee.

Team LaVallee’s Crew; Glenn Kafka, Terry Gilomen, and Jeff Leffel had the sleds ripping awesome hole shots all weekend. LaVallee and Kafka put together some great rides in both qualifying rounds and finals.

Race Results: Pro Stock. Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee, had a tough round of qualifying and he just missed the top 10 spot, by qualifying 11th for the final, Levi entered in the LCQ, winning that and giving him great momentum for the Final. Coming from the back row and get tangled up with another rider in the final, caused LaVallee to end in the 15th position.

Pro Open. After having bad luck in the Pro Stock class, LaVallee was ready to bring the heat in the Pro Open Class and he did just that. He qualified really strong with 4th and 2nd place finishes, putting him in the 8th spot of the Final. With Team LaVallee’s Sleds ripping, LaVallee got a great hole shot off the start and after the 20 lap final LaVallee finished with a consistent 5th place position.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #1. Semi Pro Rider, Chris Kafka had an excellent day of qualifying, with 2nd and 3rd place finishes in his qualifying rounds, it allowed Kafka to take the 7th spot in the final. With high energy and smart lines, Kafka finished his Friday Night Final with a strong 5th place finish.

Semi-Pro Super Stock #2. Kafka continued his strong streak of racing, with qualifying again with 2nd and 3rd place finishes in his qualifier rounds. This time allowing him to be the 4th place qualifier for the Final. With sleds flying high, Kafka’s final was ended early when he and other rider got tangled up. Luckily, no one was hurt but the race was over for those two riders.

Winter X Games Fourteen: Twice as Nice.

Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado was the home of this years Winter X Games Fourteen. If you remember last year, Levi caused a lot of hype with the only snowmobile athlete competing in all 4 snowmobile events and also being the first person to attempt a Double Back Flip on a Snowmobile.
At this years Games, Levi put the Double Back Flip on hold and concentrated his attention across four different snowmobile events. Levi was the only snowmobile athlete to compete in 4 Winter X Games Events; Snowmobile Freestyle, Snowmobile Best Trick, Snowmobile Snocross and a new event this year, Snowmobile Knock Out.

The Results:
Snowmobile Freestyle. A total of 12 riders competed in this years Freestyle Event and with new riders and a lot of new tricks, the competition was going to be tough. Fortunately, Levi had an awesome qualifying round and going into the Final, Levi found himself tied for 2nd place. In the Final, Levi pulled out the best tricks in his bag. With time running out and in high excitement Levi pulled a BackFlip Seat Grab and his hands missed his seat and he plunged to the ground. With a broken sled, Levi was eliminated from the Final.

Snowmobile Best Trick. This is an event where 8 riders get 2 chances to beat their competitors with one, Best Trick. Last year Levi attempted the unthinkable, a Double Back Flip on a Snowmobile. With still suffering from an injury he acquired last summer, Levi knew the Double Back Flip was out of the question this year. Instead, he pulled a Back Flip Superman. With full extension and a great, clean landing - Levi took home a Bronze Medal.

SnoCross. Levi has had bad luck with SnoCross at the Winter X Games in the past and each year he tries to redeem himself and get into the top spot. With qualifying in the 5th spot in the First Round, Levi was able to skip the Last Chance Qualifyer and go directly to the final. With a bad start in the final, Levi found him-self sitting in the 11th place position. With the new Talladega Turn added to the track, Levi was taking the high-line in the turn and was passing a guy each lap. Then 6 laps in, Levi’s ski hooked off the top of the Talladega Turn and caused him and his sled to come crashing down and ending his SnoCross Final.

Snowmobile Knock Out. A brand new event at Winter X Games 14 involved 6 riders and the simple concept of hitting a ramp, flying through the air and trying to out jump your competitor. This event was right up Levi’s alley. With a need for speed, the love of hitting ramps and the desire to fly through the air, Levi was able to out-jump all of the riders one-by-one and took home the Gold.

Apple Launches the iPad & plays the XGames Game App.

On Wednesday, January 27th, Apple launched the latest creation; the iPad.
So what does this have to do with Levi LaVallee and Snowmobiling? Well alot, actually. In the keynote presentation CEO Steve Job unviled the iPad, and SVP iPhone Software, Scott Forstall went through some of the apps on iPad. Within that category, he brought up the new Winter X Games Snocross Game. He showed the video introduction and started to play the game to show off the graphics and chose Levi as his Snocross Racer. He didn't get the holeshot off the start, but he did pull some pretty cool tricks. Its a great game and was really cool to see it displayed in the keynote presentation from Apple.

Western National - Sandy, UT Recap

Longville, MN - The team is back in Minnesota and Wisconsin from the ACSS Western National race held at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah. It was the first time ACSS National Tour had hit a town on the Western Side of the U.S. and it turned out to be quite an event. The one-day National consisted of qualifying during the day and having the main show start at 7:00 p.m. that night.

“It is a pretty cool place,” said Levi LaVallee in regards to the Rio Tinto Stadium, “the fans here are awesome and I hope we are able to make this a permanent stop on the ACSSNational Tour from here on out.” The Western National had a great turnout, with over 9,000 fans attending the event.

Race Results: Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Levi LaVallee, had excellent rounds of qualifying with allowing him to be the 2nd Qualifier for the Pro Stock Final and the 7th qualifier for the Pro Open Final. With the limitations of a smaller track, it caused challenges for all riders, including Levi. Pro Open Final: Towards the endof this race, Levi got tangled up with another rider finishing in the 13th place spot. In the Pro Stock Final, Levi stayed consistent throughout the race finishing in a notable 6th position.
Semi Pro Rider, Chris Kafka rode strong all weekend finishing with a Podium spot in his Semi Pro Super Stock #1 with an awesome 3rd place finish. In Semi Pro Super Stock #2, Kafka rounded out the weekend with a 10th place finish.

Team LaVallee will consist of 5 time Winter X Games Medalist and defending ISOC Pro Stock Champion Levi LaVallee and Semi Pro rider Chris Kafka. The team will compete in all of the ISOC Nationals and the ESPN Winter X Games. “I can’t wait for this season to start! With the combination of great sponsors, a unbelievable crew and with the alliance of Hentges Racing sharing sled set-ups and technical information, I think we have all the right ingredients to have a successful year,” states LaVallee. LaVallee looked at the team as a way of becoming more involved in the sport that he loves and hopes that it will be a way to keep him involved down the road after he has finished racing.

It is that time of year, even though we might not have any snow yet, the Spirit of Christmas is all around. And since 1992 the Target Holidazzle Parade has been a tradition to Downtown Minneapolis.

This year Levi was given the opportunity to be Grand Marshal in one of 15 parades. This was truly an honor, and Levi happily accepted his position of Grand Marshal in the Target Holidazzle Parade on Saturday, December 5th, 2009 starting at 6:30.

Duluth National Postponed

A press release went out this morning a little after 9:00 am (Central Time) that the AMSOIL Duluth National has been rescheduled. Traditionally the Duluth National falls on Thanksgiving weekend, but due to unseasonably warm temperatures and little chance of snow before Friday, the 18th annual race at Spirit Mountain has been moved to run the weekend of December 11 – 13.

Lately Levi has been getting more and more fan mail, whether its an email, facebook message, tweet, or even a good-old-fashion hand written note - it doesn't matter how the message is sent, Levi still can't believe how cool is fans are.

Late this fall, Levi had gotten an email from a lady named Trinity, who's son (Briggs)is a hard-core Levi Fan. "Here is a picture of my son Briggs, age 6 and Levi at the 2009 Lake Geneva race. He used this picture for his birthday party invitations, and on his cake. He LOVES Levi and he is his favorite racer. Levi is so nice to the fans-great to have him as my sons role model! Good luck in the 2010 season! Thanks, Trinity" -Rushsylvania, Ohio.

Levi was pumped to hear that he made it onto a Birthday Cake - Who would have guessed that would ever happen? LOL But truthfully, this fan email confirmed why Levi pushes the limits in his sport, and its because of his fans who continue to support him and follow him along the way.

Four Wheel Deal

Two weeks ago I participated in the Volkswagen TDI Cup at Road America racetrack in Elkhart Lake, WI. Volkswagen has this incredible series for up and coming drivers where they provide the cars, mechanics, driver coaches, PR coaching, help with sponsors, and a bunch of exposure. Basically they give you all the tools to accelerate your journey to the top. Each race of the series they bring in some Guest Drivers and with a little help from my buddy Doug (a lot of help) I was fortunate enough to be chosen to be one of them. I was originally suppose to get the pins out of my foot a week after the race which would have axed my car racing plan so I talked to my Doc and he agreed to take my pins out a week early. SWEET!! Monster Mike Schultz, my buddy Cade and myself literally left right from the hospital after my surgery and trucked it 8 hours out to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

We arrived to open arms from Jessica, Clark, and all the Volkswagen People. Oakley provides all the drivers with head to toe Driving Suites and shoes and I got to Drive the # 10 Red Bull Car. I felt right at home running Oakley gear and a Red Bull Car. I even threw a Polaris Sticker on the side for a little extra luck!

First practice session was insane, people are bombing all over the place and I’m driving around like it was a Sunday cruise. Haha. I was the slowest car out there after practice. I was pretty bummed but was determined to step it up for qualifying. I talked with some of the drivers and they were awesome giving me pointers and helping me out. In qualifying I knocked 13 seconds off my fast lap. I was only a few seconds back from the fastest lap, (which is an eternity in car racing) but in reality for having 1 hour of four wheel racing under my belt, I was pretty excited!

I went into the final thinking I was gonna make things happen. We take off and cars are flying off through the grass, spinning out and what not. I was functioning for about ¾ of race, then I started thinking I had something for the car ahead of me so I started pushing a little and thought I could out brake them. Yeah out brake them with all my car racing experience and talent. Well I ran out of talent and went blasting through the sand trap on my way to cranking the wall. Haha I almost made a whole weekend with out crashing.

My first road race didn’t go exactly to plan but in the end I had one of the best experiences ever and got to meet some top notch people. Thanks to everyone from Volkswagen and all the drivers for helping me out and making this possible.

X-Tremely RAD !

Mike Schultz is a ANIMAL! I had to get that out first. I had the pleasure of watching my fellow snocrosser win the Silver Medal in the Adaptive moto X race. His leg that he built, equipped with a Fox shox, worked amazing, as he was one of 2 riders to go for the huge finish line Jump. SO SICK! Congrats Mike.

Any way I went out to summer X again this year and had same result as every year- I was blown away by what the athletes were doing. Travis Pastrana trying the flip 360, Anthony Napolitan Stomping the double front flip on the bike, and the best trick riders going for tricks they had never landed before. I have so much respect for these guys after being in a similar situation last winter. As I stared at my double flip ramp, questioning whether I would be walking away or leaving in the Ambulance. The thought of landing the trick you have invested so much time, energy, and heart into, out weighs the uncertainty and leaves you fully committed in hopes of making history. It is a feeling that many X Games athletes feel at least once and in Travis’ case probably every couple weeks. Haha.

We had the opportunity to go to Oakley’s Head Quarters while on our trip and I’m pretty sure it is the craziest place I have ever seen! You drive up and all you can see is a tank, yes Military Tank on the top of this hill. You drive up the hill past the tank and you see the Building, which looks like some futuristic alien Spacecraft or something. Haha. Inside it gets even better. My boy Sheldon gave us the tour of the place and showed us where they test their eyewear. So crazy, they shoot over sized BB’s at the lens of the glasses, at over 400 mph and it doesn’t do anything to it! Then they drop a 5 lbs plum bob looking deal down this tube like 5 ft down to a pair of shades on a manikin head and it hammers the lens and doesn’t shatter. Pretty sure it blast right through your eye on its way to the back of your skull if it wasn’t for the lens. That says something about there products.

A couple other cool things that went down this year at X was I got to host a X Games party in Hollywood which was super fun. I also got to hand the Medals out for both the men’s and women’s supercross. Very cool opportunity for sure. And also got to see see the Premiere of The X Games Movie in 3D - check it out August 21st.

Another great X games, want to say congrats to all the medalists and a high five to all the athletes that were there pushing their sport. It’s amazing to watch!

The 2009 Espy Awards took place on Sunday, July 19th. Its a night where all athletes join to celebrate the triumphs & setbacks they have over come throughout the year. Its a time to reflect on the most memorable moments and a time to reflect on those athletes we have lost this past year.

Levi was honored and humbled when he watched the Espy's - because a rumor was passed his way that his Double Backflip was going to be shown at the awards. Little did Levi realize his trick made it into the 2009 Espy's Introduction/Highlight video. It is a surreal moment to see Levi, a small town kid, presented with great athletes like Michael Phelps, Kobe Bryant and Shaun White.

The Off Season

A typical Off Season for Levi usually includes riding dirtbikes, mini bikes, and wakeboarding. And this summer Levi was really looking forward to creating new tricks in his foam pit. However, Levi's summer plans changed when he crashed riding moto at the Red Bull Compound in California in Mid-May. Levi ended up breaking his heal and is now on Doctor's orders of not having any pressure on his foot until August 15th.

Levi recently asked his Facebook Fan's what he should be doing in his off-season when he only has the ability to use one leg. With many great suggestions, Levi new one thing - his recent injury was not going to limit him from having fun.

With in a month after surgery, Levi researched online and found a contraption that would allow him to walk without the use of crutches, the device is conveniently called "iWalk-Free". With this, Levi doesn't put any pressure on his foot and it allowed him to be mobile and use his arms. With his new mobile device, Levi set his sights on becoming a better golfer. So, Levi purchased a new set of Taylor Made clubs and golfs almost every day.

KC Pro West Guest Apperance

A couple months ago, Levi was asked to make a guest appearance to a Local, Minnesota/North Dakota Race Circuit called KC Pro West in Casselton, ND. What is KC Pro West you ask? Well, its a great SnoCross racing circuit that is available for children of ages 4-13. Its an opportunity for young racers to start their dreams early. It was a fun opportunity for Levi to attend this event and seeing how many young riders that are out there was a pretty cool sight.

Levi showed a 5 minute video clip of this past 08-09 race season. The kids sat very attentively during the whole video and loved seeing Levi practice the double flip into his foam pit. Levi also shared a 10-15 minute speech on his Snocross Career and the steps he takes to make it in this industry.

By the end of the night, many photos where taken and Levi's hand was pretty sore from all the autographs he signed that night, but it was all worth it and can't wait to do it again. A very big thanks for KC Pro West to invite Levi, it was a great time - I think Levi's favorite memory was being able to Limbo with the kids during the dance!

Following the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series Grand Finale in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is the Year End Awards Banquet, held Sunday night immediately following the races. Its a great opportunity for the race circuit to come together as a family, look at the highlights of the 08-09 season and celebrate the accomplishments of fellow riders.

This year's awards banquet has been set in the history books for Levi, as one of the most memorable banquets of them all. With winning the Championship battle for the Stock Class on Saturday and having a great run in the Open on Sunday, Levi knew he would be coming home with a Championship Title and a 3rd place award . . . but little did know he would be also taking home 2 other incredible honors.

With the award ceremony on its way, more and more trophies were being handed out and photos where taken. When it came time to Announce the Wood's Rider of the Year Award; Levi had no idea what was coming. Rick Tiede of Woody's had the honor of passing out the award of Rider of the Year, he didn't say who won - just told everyone to watch the Video on the Big Screen. The first this that came across the screen was Levi's logo. Screams and a well-rounded applause erupted throughout the banquet room. Levi had been given the Honor of being chosen 2008-2009 Woody's Rider of the Year.

If that wasn't enough, one more award was to be given to Levi that night and this one was all up to the fans. ISOC had been running a poll on their website and having fans to come in and vote for their favorite rider. And Levi was the one who took that very honorable award home. "This award is awesome. I really can't believe it. I have the BEST fans around, Thank you guys for voting. This means a lot." Said Levi in his acceptance speech.

It was a wonderful way to end the Year. It was the best season Levi has ever had in his Professional career of a SnoCross racer and can't wait to see what next year brings!

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin - was the final stop for the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series. Coming into the weekend, Levi was tied for First Place in the points race with Arctic Cat rider, Garth Kaufman. With that in mind, Levi knew coming into Saturday's events that he needed to ride his best and come out on top, and he did just that.

Saturday, Pro Super Stock Round One, Heat One, Levi came out of the gates sitting mid-pack and worked his way up the hill and came around the first corner in First place, he held of that position, taking a First in his qualifying heat. The second Heat, where both teammates TJ Gulla and Brett Bender where in the same heat as Kaufman, with high hopes of either teammate to take the top spot, Brett Bender the leader of the heat ended up crashing, allowing TJ to move into first and Kaufman ended up working his way past TJ, and finishing with a first place.
With Levi and Garth both qualifying first in their heats, the final is really what it all came down to, as they were still tied neck and neck for the points championship title. For the final, Levi ended up having a great holeshot and kept his first place spot throughout the entire 16 lap final. His teammate TJ Gulla was giving him a run for his money though, but Levi held him off for his first Win of the Season. On top of the Podium, Levi also got to claim the title of Pro Super Stock Points Champion. This is the first Championship Levi has ever won, and his hard work and determination throughout his career has certainly paid off.

Pro Open: Levi came into the last race sitting in 2nd place, just 13 points behind his teammate TJ Gulla. In his qualifying round, Levi placed 6th - which lead him to race in the LCQ to get into the final. Levi finished 1st in the LCQ, where he had to start from the back row of the Pro Open Final. Levi ended up with a 6th place finish and a 3rd place overall for the Pro Open Points Race. His Teammate TJ Gulla won the Championship in Pro Open, congrats to TJ!

Overall, has been an amazing year for Levi. He claimed the Points Championship Title, attempted the first ever double backflip and received a Silver Medal at Winter X 13. The season may be over, but Levi is already thinking of next season. We hope you are looking forward to it as well!

Lake Geneva, Wisconsin - is the place to be this coming weekend. Grand Geneva Resort & Spa will be hosting the finale for the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series this weekend, March 20-22nd. With the season coming to an end, the big question keeps floating around the circuit. Who will take home the Championship title.

Let's break it down into details.

Pro Super Stock. With a case of bad luck at the last National race held in Hayward, Wisconsin - Levi didn't have the weekend he was looking for. Although he felt great riding-wise, he ended up having some unfortunate mechanical problems that caused him not to finish the stock final. Now Levi is coming into this last and final race, tied for first place with Arctic Cat rider, Garth Kaufman.

Pro Open. In the pro open class, the points are not as tight, but it is still anyone's game. Currently, Levi's teammate, TJ Gulla holds the top spot, with Levi just 13 points behind - it will make for an exciting weekend. Each race; whether it is in the qualifying heats or the final, every last spot makes a difference in the points.

“It should be an exciting weekend,” said Bob Coffin, Race Director for the International Series of Champions (ISOC). “With our scoring system, a racer has the opportunity to capture as many as 37 points in a weekend, that’s if they win both their heat race and the final. With the points so tight, one bobble or mechanical issue can ruin their chances. It puts a lot of pressure on not just the racer, but the entire crew to perform.”

Levi's Goal? With the superstitious guy he is, he is going to try his best to leave the points race in the back of his mind and just focus on having fun. He plans to take the weekend in steps, and take things as they come. But most importantly, Levi wants to show the crowd who is really is - and wants to put on a show that the people are coming to see. So you shouldn't be surprised if Levi starts throwing out his signature tricks, whether he is winning the race or not. His goal is to ride his best and have some fun.

It was a interview that was conducted to show Minnesotan's that no matter what the odds are, if you put your heart and sole into it, you can achieve anything. HACC Hayward 300

Hayward, Wisconsin was the 2nd to the last stop for the ISOC Racing Amsoil Championship SnoCross Series. Coming into the weekend, Levi was taking the top spot in the Pro Super Stock Points Standing, with a 10 point lead over Garth Kaufman, and running just 10 points behind the TJ Gulla in the Pro Open Class.

Levi's efforts in qualifying went well, allowing him to skip both LCQ's and go straight into the final for both classes. On Saturday night, the Pro Super Stock Final looked to be really promising for Levi, with only a couple of laps in, Levi's pace was slowing down and ultimately came to a complete stop and had to pull off of the track due to a blown shock. It was an unfortunate ending to that final, as Levi had to sit on the sidelines and watch all of the races pass him by and his points lead slip away.

Sunday for the Pro Open, Levi was riding strong and came into a corner too fast, causing him to over shoot a corner and come off the track. Levi really had his work cut out for him, but he was charging his way back up. With a few more laps down, Levi got taken out by another rider in the corner before the finish line allowing several rider to pass him and finishing with a upsetting 10th place.
