Scotts Valley, CA January 10, 2012 – The leader in ride dynamics, FOX congratulates Levi LaVallee on his history-making distance jump of 412 feet, 6 inches this past New Year's Eve in San Diego — the first 300 feet of the jump was over a part of the bay.
"I was confident that I could beat my old distance-jumping world record, but never imagined that I'd fly over 412 feet; what an awesome start to 2012," said LaVallee. "FOX has provided me with such great suspension support — it translates into confidence and allows me to focus on the task at hand."
"I'm now looking forward to Winter X Games at the end of January, and there's still a lot of snocross racing left this season," Levi went on to say.
LaVallee bested his own distance-jumping record of 361 feet, set during practice for the same stunt in 2010, just before his crash that took him out for a year.
