Scott Sweeps New York National

Longville, MN (February 26, 2013) - The next stop on the ISOC - ACSS National Series brought us to anew location on the East Coast. The Seneca Allegany Air Force Snocross race was held at Seneca Allegany Casino and Hotel in Salamanca, New York. The weather played a toll on the track for the two-day national, with the snow constantly changing throughout each race, it made it for a rough and unpredictable track but great racing for the riders and the large crowd.

Team LaVallee’s Pro Rider, Kyle Pallin had an awesome weekend of racing. Pallin’s qualifying rounds were strong and consistent and he was able to skip both LCQ’s (last chance qualifier) on Friday and Saturday. One of Pallin’s strongest points over the weekend where his holeshots, he took the Studboy Holeshot Award in both Pro Open finals. In the Friday night final, Pallin came off the line first and came through the first corner in third. Pallin continued to charge, was passed by a couple other riders but still maintained to finish the Friday night final in an impressive 6th place. In the Pro Open Round 12 final on Saturday night, Pallin again ripped the hole shot, kept in the first place position for a handful of laps and when it came to lap 19 of the 24 lap final, Pallin was passed from 3rd place to 4th and just as Pallin regained the 3 place position, he had an unfortunate off but was able to get back up quickly and end in 9th place. Pallin currently sits in 9th in the Pro Open points race.

Jake Scott continued to push the limits in the Pro Lite class throughout the two-day national. On Friday, Scott did have to run the LCQ in order to make it into the Pro Lite #1 Final but coming from the back row did not discourage Scott. Off of the start in the final, Scott was able to charge through the pack and make it into the 2nd position by the first corner. In the 2nd lap of the 16-lap final, Scott passed for the first place position where he stayed and pulled away from the pack, with an impressive 6.5 second over the rest. On Saturday, Scott had another day of great qualifying, and was able to make it into the Pro Lite #2 Final in the 9th position. Coming off of the line in the final, Scott ripped the holeshot, road smart and strong for the 16-lap final and took home another 1st place win. Sweeping the New York National and maintaining 1st place in the Pro Lite points race.

“It was an awesome weekend overall for both Kyle and Jake. The holeshots where spot-on and that is what we needed on a track like the one in New York. There are only two race weekends left for this season, so every point count. It’s exciting, looking forward to seeing what happens in Fargo.” stated LaVallee
